i wrote an article for a fairly regarded uk film magazine ages ago. being new to the wonderful world of journalism i assumed i would research, interview, write, invoice and then deposit the cheque into my account.
w-rong!!!! my end of things worked out ok. i'm pretty proud of the article (in fact i think i might post it after this) . but i invoiced the magazine exactly TWO MONTHS today and still no cheque or copy of magazine. and i have been politely but firmly chasing him up the whole time. what is that all about!!!! ????
good news is i got name checked for it in the guardian check it out here 
meanwhile could everyone cross their fingers that i get paid?
